Hye-Ryoung Min is a South Korean photographer living and working in NYC.

Her recent exhibitions include: "TWO MOONS" at GoEun Museum of Photography in Korea; “En Foco’s the New Works #18” at The Bronx Documentary Center; “CAPTURED 2015” at NEWSPACE Center for Photography; “The Archive of Korean- American Artists Part 3” at Korean Cultural Service; “Month of Photography Los Angeles” in 2015; “Center Forward” at The Center for Fine Art Photography; “20th Annual Juried Exhibition” at Griffin Museum of Photography; AHL Foundation “Camera Lucida Revisited” in 2014; “Family” at the Detroit Center for Contemporary Photography and the “88th Annual International Competition” Semi-Finalists exhibition at The Print Center in 2013.

She was in Artist in Residence at Woodstock Byrdcliffein 2015 and FotoVisura Lodge in 2014. She has been awarded Winner En Foco’s New Works #18; Winner Conscientious Portfolio Competition; Honorable Mention in Fine Art at the International Photography Awards; Seoul Photo Festival Portfolio Award, and the Rising Artist Award Finalist at the Seoul Museum of Art.

In NYC her work has been exhibited at: The Bronx Documentary Center; Korean Cultural Service; COOHAUS Art; hpgrp Gallery; John Jay Art Gallery; Greenwich House; ASMP Gallery and Photoville in Brooklyn. National exhibitions include: NEWSPACE Center for Photography, The Center for Fine Art Photography; Griffin Museum of Photography; MASS MoCA; Santa Monica Art Studios and the Detroit Center for Contemporary Photography. In Korea her work has been exhibited at the following venues: Seoul Museum of Art (SeMA); Gallery LUX; Gallery COMMA; Sejong Art Center and the UNESCO Gallery in Seoul and internationally in France, Japan, Malaysia and Albania.
